Dart Zone Talks About the Nexus Pro X and Aeon Pro X

There’s obviously some bias here (given the source), but the newest Blaster Chat from Dart Zone goes into detail about the upcoming refresh of the Adventure Force standards, as well as other details.

Let’s sum up a few details!

The Blasters

  • Walmart wanted a refresh of the line, and wanted to not wait until Christmas. Thus the upcoming April release.
  • As opposed to skinny pushers, the two blasters have unique plunger systems minimizing air loss while still allowing skinny pusher-type magazine release. (Essentially, the plunger tube sits up above the magazine, with an incredibly tiny jog before it hits the loaded dart). Relevant link for Blaster Time’s dissection video!
  • Springs can be accessed with the removal of a screw in the back.
  • Dart Zone has FINALLY shifted to Talon-style magazines, though they’ll maintain compatibility with previous magazines.

Extras

  • Accessories like the SCAR/BCAR pack (available now, prior to the Nexus Pro X/Aeon Pro X release) are being considered for separate release when they can assist players with lots of blasters, not just Dart Zone.
  • There will be extra springs on the Dart Zone website (both stronger and weaker) for various events. The Nexus X will be able to hit both sub-130fps and 250fps with these options. The Aeon Pro X will hit sub-130 and up to around 200fps, meanwhile.
  • They pay attention to community mods like 3d printed kits, and this has influenced design decisions like the stock attachment on the Aeon Pro X.
