Xshot Pro Skins Longshot 2.0 Review
October 15, 2026I’m slightly late reviewing this blaster. However, I didn’t have a chance to get to a 200fps game until last weekend, so it was hard to judge how useful the Longshot 2.0 would be. It ended up being my favorite blaster of the entire day!
As much as I love the Adventure Force Nexus Pro X2 that’s on Walmart shelves, the Xshot Pro Skins Longshot 2.0 is giving it a run for its money as the best springer platform in stores today. And that’s a very high bar!
Easy to Use
The first thing you notice when trying out the Longshot 2.0 is just how easy the priming motion feels! That is likely due to the setup of the blaster; it’s still capable of using either full length or half-length darts. You have to prime a longer distance, but doing so means that you can use a weaker spring and affect a larger air volume. That setup makes for a super-easy priming motion that isn’t going to tire you out anytime soon.
The blaster comes with a full-length dart magazine, a half-length magazine (plus adapter), and darts of each type. Seeing as half darts are the default choice for high fps blasters, though, I’ll judge based on that aspect.
In terms of setup, this blaster is the same as the original. It’s a bullpup-stye blaster, with a long tactical rail up top. The stock is slightly extendable, with a built-in cheek rest. When using short darts, an ambidextrous button above the handle can be toggled with your thumb to release the magazine. Everything is very familiar, so users don’t need to adapt to anything.
This blaster, though, does come with a bearing-centering muzzle device, to impart spin on the darts and make them more accurate.
Performance and Gameplay
The Longshot 2.0 is quickly becoming my favorite for high fps games. I’m averaging 194fps with short darts (depending on brand, fps can vary), and with the included slamfire (yes, it’s there!), you can spam 2.5 darts per second if you really need to put ammo downrange.
Here’s a sample of gameplay; the Longshot 2.0 was more than capable of hitting targets consistently at a distance.
Internals
Admittedly, this section is bare for the moment. I promise to get internal pictures up; not posting consistently creates issues, as I’ve found out, and online algorithms don’t care that you’ve been studying for exams or doing more serious things in life than being a toy influencer! XD
Final Thoughts
The Longshot 2.0 is a solid contender for blaster of the year, by any measure. It’s powerful, accurate, and affordable…and it looks good while doing it! You should probably grab one, especially with holiday sales on the horizon!
