The REKT Jury Revolver Finally Appears!

Umarex, the world’s largest producer of various air guns, airsoft guns, and replica firearms, dipped their toes into foam blasting with the Rekt Op Four and Op Six CO2-powered blasters. (Admittedly, my OP Six is still sitting in the basement, in need of testing). They planned to expand the line with the Jury…but then the pandemic happened, along with the associated manufacturing and shipping difficulties.

Now, however, the Jury is not only being released, but in a suprise move is already available for sale! Let’s take a look – and stick around to the end for a link to a giveaway!

Press Release Time!

As always, the associated text:

FORT SMITH, AR —Rekt, a brand of Umarex USA, continues to provide next-level foam dart fans with launchers that launch darts farther and faster with the new Rekt Jury. Now shipping, the Rekt Jury is a new futuristic-styled revolver powered by easy-to-find CO2 that propels half-length darts 30% farther and faster than standard foam dart blasters.

The new Rekt Jury dart revolver has a cool six-chamber cylinder that’s completely removable. There’s a simple cylinder release on one side of the Jury that allows it to pop right out. While darts can be easily loaded with the cylinder in the launcher it’s super easy to load with half-length darts when out of the launcher. In true revolver fashion, the Rekt Jury can shoot darts in either single or double action. That means you can pull back the hammer with each shot or just keep squeezing the trigger.

The REKT Jury Foam Dart Revolver

Don’t be fooled by the Rekt Jury’s size. The Jury zings darts at 130 feet per second and has an impressive range of over 80 feet! It can unleash a satisfying barrage of six darts just as fast as you can pull the trigger and because a single 12-gram CO2 cartridge provides the air that propels the darts it packs a punch and has a cool sounding “pop” too. Plus there’s a short length of tactical rail at the top of the Jury that allows you to add an accessory should you want to upgrade down the road. When combined with its cowboy-esque loading mechanism and single-action shooting capability the Rekt Jury brings a whole new dimension to foam dart games.

Available in two dueling options the Rekt Jury comes in either a red or a blue frame with gray accents and each comes with an extra gray cylinder. MSRP $49.99. Find more about Rekt foam dart launchers at PlayRekt.com.

Short Dart Fever: My Thoughts

As is the case with many performance-grade blasters, Umarex has opted to make the Jury a short dart blaster. Of course, being a revolver, this has its own benefits outside of performance. Smaller darts means smaller cylinders and a more compact blaster!

The blaster is powered by a C02 cartridge stored in the handle – these are just standard 12g capsules that you can swap out as needed. Normally, I’m not sold on powering blasters with these cartridges, simply because over time, you’ll lose pressure and performance (running out of CO2 in a match would be terrible). In a small platform like this, however, it makes complete sense. You’re not firing insane numbers of shots out of a sidearm (normally), so even after a few reloads, you’ll still be fine.

Reload Faster

Speaking of reloads: the cylinder is removable! And while each pistol comes with two, you can buy extras as well. So if you don’t want to reload on the fly, you can just pop in a full cylinder without any hassle.

I ordered a red model this morning, along with extra cylinders. We’ll see how well they do once they arrive!
