Twilight Wheels ReviewMay 29, 2020
A while ago, I published a review concerning the first version of Daybreak wheels. Those have, of course, undergone a second revision, and have also sold well – to the point they’re out of stock. Enter a different variant from Drac, of all people, with Twilight wheels. Do they perform just as well? Testing points to yes.
Nerf Rival Finisher ReviewMay 27, 2020
The Rival Finisher was an interesting entry at the Hasbro Toy Fair event. A mag-fed Rival pistol for only $15, with a new kind of magazine? It makes for an interesting alternative to the current staple of Rival collections, the Kronos. The magazine itself isn’t as revolutionary as one would hope, but the blaster (while somewhat bare bones in nature) is a solid addition on the cheaper end of the Rival line.
Xshot Vimeo: Showing Dino Attack and More!May 26, 2020
First, credit where due: the videos were first noticed by u/Echo1201. I keep forgetting that Xshot has a Vimeo channel, so I guess I’m late by two weeks!
In any case, several things that were shown off at Toy Fair are now official in terms of being public. The Crusher is new and already documented, but the Dino Attack blasters weren’t yet publicized.
Buzz Bee Water Warriors Drench Force ReviewMay 17, 2020
Earlier this year, I reviewed the Adventure Force Tsunami Drencher. It wasn’t a perfect blaster, but it was great for its designed purpose – quickly unloading water. If you’re older and stronger, however, I’d suggest the Drench Force (the original design) instead. I still see it at Dollar Generals and other places, and it’s the same $15 price. But for the same price, you get twice the capacity!

Buzz Bee Water Warriors Gargantua X ReviewMay 14, 2020
Buzz Bee Toys made an interesting design decision here. The original Gargantua, which I owned but somehow never reviewed, relied on a small CPS-type pressure chamber. It wasn’t a CPS 2000 by any means, but it had nice strong shots, capacity, and fast pumping. Now, Buzz Bee has the Gargantua X, replacing the CPS and trigger with a Steady Stream mechanism, but keeping the three nozzles. It’s still a decent blaster, considering what’s on the market. I just preferred the old one more.
Legitbread’s Nerfers Against Covid-19 Fundraiser!May 11, 2020
A last-minute plea for help, if you can! Fellow Nerftuber Legitbread has been running a fundraiser over the past couple weeks, aiming to raise $1000CAD for worldwide relief efforts. The fundraiser ends this Friday, and we still have plenty of ground to cover to reach the goal! If you’re in a position to be able to help, consider pitching in $5 (plus with the current US/CAD conversion rate, you can get a decent number of Loonies compared to American dollars). If you can’t donate, consider spreading the fundraiser on social media.
Let’s hit that goal! After all, if everyone who sees the fundraiser donates even two dollars, we’ll be well on our way.
